I was banded Dec 07/06 i weight 221lbs after pre surgery diet 206 lbs and now i weight 188lbs. it feels that i will never get to were some of you are. but i will keep doing this i can and come to this site when i need some one to lift my spirts and get me thur it one day at a time. so if you are from arkansas or not and want to chat.

I just got banded last week. After reading what you wrote the question that first pops in my head is which band did they use on you? I have the smaller one and have lost 13 pounds as of last Monday. Are you sricking closely to the diet, do you get hungry? So far I haven't really been hungry.

Hi Tammy, you are doing great. I am down 50 lbs in 10 months. A lb a week is typical. Good luck.
