Yeah I havd go cook for my family too but they been eating dinners same way as me except my 7 year old I have go serv hed carbs like rice or potatoes because she is diabetic and needs carbs to prevent lows...my husband been doing same preop diet with me even tho hes not having surgery. Wich helps alot so he is upstanding what im feeling..I got 8 more days to go..

I have been on a cpap since 2010. Honestly I can't sleep without it if you can relax it will be the best sleep you have ever HD. Also I am told by a friend that just had the surgery the hunger dimeishes after surgery.

That's what the surgical team has told me. I was disappointed in that I have a very mild level of sleep apnea. The physician in Sleep Medicine told me that usually for a case as mild as mine they wouldn't recommend a cpap. When the equipment is ready I intend to take full advantage though.

I just got my cpap last week. And I do feel better with it. Although it does slow surgery down 30 days

I am received the call today, my surgery date is April 28th. No pre-op diet. I will meet with surgeon on the 16th. And pre-op paperwork on 24th. Very excited!!!

We have the same surgery date. Where are you from?

Initially my surgeon said that I would not be on a preop diet. Now they're telling me I'll get a copy of my diet at preop om the 8th. I'm getting nervous but I've come too far to turn back now!

I figured you would have some type of pre op diet.

I know exactly how u feel I have to cook reg food for my bf too I have done some slipping with a small piece of a sweet it sucks cuz I know I'm getting my time of the month so I'm having those cravings but no matter what I'm drinking tons of water. I'm so hydrated u can literally tell in my urine. Sry to be specific but it's true. And I'm stink in my shrinking liver diet. Date is April 7 can not wait again

Yeah I'm very excited-I am excited about all of those things as well! I can't believe it's about a week away, it came so soon

Maybe soon for yu but I waited a long time and yea it's like almost here my thoughts are like what's going to happen after ? Lol but I know I'll be fine

I know, I'm getting nervous. I made my decision to do it dec 20 and then just made it happen, but I can't believe it's actually here
