I was allowed to shower while I was in the hospital with some help, but it felt wonderful. You don't really have to bring your own toiletries since they provide you with everything that you need. I personally don't like the hospital lotion, so I brought my own. But they give you soap, shampoo, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, towels, etc.

I took a shower the next morning in the hospital as well. I did bring my own toiletries, but they did provide me with everything I would need.

I brought my own toiletries facial wash and lotion, brush, toothpaste and blow dryer. Nothing feels better then being able to get refreshed after surgery! Then a change to my own pj's helped me as well and i looked forward to walking the hallways with out the gown breeze! ;)

Less than 24 hours in the hospital left us not needing much and showering at home.

I took all my stuff to shower, do my hair and make up. It felt wonderful to shower and do my hair the next day before I was discharged!! I did skip putting on make up.
