"3 week stall"

Has anyone heard of the "3 week stall"? I am 3 weeks out and have stalled on my weight loss. I mentioned this on a Myfitnesspal forum and someone said that a 3 week stall is common. She also said I should be able to find lots of info online about it. I've come up with zilch. So I'm asking fellow bandsters what's the word???

I haven't heard of it either, but I do know a weight loss journey will have many stalls along the way. Keep doing everything right ( healthy food choices & exercise) and you will begin the losing

  • 2-4 week stalls are very common. I always hit them when I dieted years ago. Here's a scientific reason why this happens: http://www.dsfacts.com/weight-loss-stall-or-plateau.html

  • You all seriously need to quit weighing yourselves. I went a whole year and lost nothing, nada, and I never gave up. Stop weighing yourselves every single day or you will drive yourself insane.

Had lap on 12-31-2013. I lost lbs the 9 days before surgery and to date post today I had lost 17 more. I had first fill of 4 cc's on feb 11 but honestly do not feel any restriction and feel hungry often 21/2 -3 hrs after eating????? have began to go to the YMCA and exercise but is it normal not to feel restriction after a fill? I am sort of disappointed about the weight I have lost.
