Started my pre-op diet!

2 weeks until I get banded! Getting excited but also very nervous! Some encouragement would be nice just to keep me on the right path during this very low calorie diet!! Whoever said weight loss surgery was the easy way out???!!!!!!!

Best wishes!! Definitely NOT the easy way out! We still have to work and make good food choices. You got this!!.

I always say, this is the time to prove to yourself that you have the strength do this. Many have done it before you. Find your inner strength. I would always tell myself that hunger is just a sensation that can be ignored. Like if you jamb your toe, you just go on with your day and get over it. Same with the hunger. Usually, after the first few days, your body will adjust and the bad cravings will dissipate. Embrace the cleansing! Best wishes!

Best of luck to you! You'll be on the other side of this before you know it!

Good luck to you!

If you go on one day at a time, it will be easier..Even though pre-op diet is anything but easy.

Think of the reward at the end of the road. It is worth it.

Best of luck !
