Thirst masking as hunger...

My sister is the one who drew my attention to this after watching a tv show (not sure which)
it said in the show that a lot of people mistake the feeling of being hungry for being thirsty its years of mistaking this feeling so we eat instead when we should be drinking something.
so I googled it and thought I would share as it may help a lot of people who are feeling hungry it could very well just be thirst instead.
it doesn’t say directly in this link but my sister said on the tv show they suggested drinking a glass of water or juice when its not a meal time hungry feeling and wait 20mins see if that feeling goes away.
so here is a link about it http://www.livestrong.com/article/510463-how-body-mistakes-hunger-for-thirst/

Yes.. I have had this experience.. I am really thirsty and it me felt hungry. So true for me,

After my surgery I was having hunger pains when I was thirsty. Soon as I starting drinking water instead of eating my hunger would go away. It is strange but really true. I was use to eating when I felt hunger pains but now I know it thirst.
