New addictions?

Today, I read somewhere on the forum, how banded people with prior food addiction issues, would find something new to be addicted to. What are your thoughts? What is taking the place of food for you, if anything?

My surgery team also stressed this, and specifically my surgeon, in a humorous way. He said I would need a new addiction now. I can shop, I can buy shoes, I can gamble, but I can't overeat. The psych

I wish I filled my time with cleaning or exercising or church or something, but I don't, lol. I do find that I shop a lot more, both in stores and online. I'm actually forced to because I constantly n

I absolutely have a new addiction- living!!! I have made a pact with myself to do all of the things I've always wanted to do but the only reason I didn't do it was my weight. I'm not burying myself in work anymore as an excuse. Living. It's wonderful :)

Thanks for reminding me of that.

I hope that's where my addiction goes lol

I find there was lots if free time when I didn't want to plan, shop, prepare, eat and clear up FOOD.

So I do see I use my iPhone more. ( like this app)

And talk on the phone more.

And.... sigh... work out 3 x a week and work part time. That is enough to occupy me for now ... Years post op
