Question about vitamins

It Vitamin shop has "jelly bean" vitamins. Are we allowed to have these? They are so yummy!! How about gummy bear type vitamins?

Check with your doctor as every doctor is different.

Hrmmm. That is something new. I know my dietitian said no gummies but maybe those are different? Plus every surgeon is different. I take Bariatric Fusion Multi. They are chewable tablets and I take chewable calcium plus d. Contact your doctor just in case.

Definitely a question for your doctor or nutritionist.

Talk to your Doc. Mine, said no on the gummy vitamins.

Gummy vitamins do not contain iron. The pharmaceutical companies have not been able to put iron in a gummy. Chewables contain iron. It is very important that we get enough iron. Low iron can cause many problems, including anemia.

We are told pre natal vitamins are the best for us after surgery. Both male and females are told to take them. Not sure if this is just a Canadian advisement. Very affordable!
