Small gain, big loss

  • Popular Post

I had my first fill 2 weeks ago. Feels likes there is no restriction in my band. Freaked because the scale said I gain 3lbs and I knew there was no way that was possible. I upped my Protein to 80 grams and upped m Water to 96oz'z. Then I had my husband hide the scales. Waited a week to weigh again. Lost those pesky 3lbs and another 3. I am a happy girl :)

Awesome!!! :D

please be careful of all the Water you are drinking. you can become toxic with water which means you can wash out all your water soluable Vitamins, like potassium, sodium, b''s and c's. there is such a thing called to much. i think most doctors recommend 64 oz a day. but do check with your doctor. but good job on working hard at losing the wt.

I weigh myself everyday, most days twice....it is very common to fluctuate within the same 5 lbs....I have been doing it for years...

I can be 3 lbs up today, down 2 tomorrow, up one the next, then down 4...etc, etc....it's peaks and valleys....

When you are still loosing, you still peak...it's just that the valleys gradually get a little lower....

The only time I get concerned is when I peak up at the 5 lb limit...and stay there are 2-3 days....but sure enough, without changing anything I do, it will drop....

Best wishes, Karen

Yippee! Way to go. I think I need to hide my scale, too, and up my game in the exercise department. January is kind of a tough month anyway, but add in the natural dips and plateaus and it's time for some rolling up of the sleeves!
