I finally finished all my doctor appointments. I am waiting for surgery date now. I hope to have the date within the next few days.

Good luck...I also used Dr. Geiss...all very nice and professional there. I also had plication. Good luck on getting your date! Keep us posted!!!

Plication is when they fold your stomach in on itself and sew it....it looks like a banana....and is supposed to mimic the sleeve without actually removing your stomach.

Feb 26 is the date. Thanks for writing. 4 weeks until I have to start the liquid diet. Not sure what to do with myself until then.

My date is Feb 10th. I do recommend starting to get your stuff into your house now, and spend sometime separating your food and your liquids ( this was very difficult for me as it's only human to want to drink) waiting at least 30 mins before you drink. and to find which shakes out there you like, Also start some sort of exercise program so that it's not so difficult for you after surgery.
