Medical ID Bracelet

I'm getting the lapband and am wanting to get a medical ID bracelet. Do any of you have one and tell me where I can get one?

Really only by pass patients need those because of NG tube placement and them having less of a stomach then us. I really don't see the need for a bracelet because if they ever need access to your stomach they can with the band.

My Surgeon recommended I get one. I got here: http://www.laurenshope.com/ I have the dog tag I wear around my neck. You will get all sorts of opinions on this subject so it really is a personal choice. Either way I figure it is a one time $50 bucks. Doesn't hurt to have it and hopefully never have a need for it.

I thought I would stop and read this as my Mother has medical problems and when we had the scare not to long ago like Nov, or the beginning of Dec. well I could not find her list of meds that she carries and it took me a hr. to find them , also I went to my substitute PCP for a pain in my lower back buttock region , and the substitute asked me after she took the and read the X RAYS what was the tube around my stomach , and I had to tell her it was my band so I guess it would be helpful and I a also allergic to eromyathacin , so if I am out of it they can find out the info , with the bracelet , so I am going to really look into this , thank you for bringing this up.

I had a lapband bracelet made from this site, with information engraved underneath.

Very professional and well made.
