Holy Restriction!

So I just had lunch, well I tried anyway. I literally had less than an ounce of chicken and maybe 5 well cooked green beans and I'm stuffed and have the burps. I'm a little miffed because it was really yummy. I'm 5 weeks out today and this is the most restriction I've felt, so far. I've been able to consume 3 oz of food until now. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful for the restriction as it is the reason why I had surgery. But an ounce of food is not going to put much of a dent in my protein requirement. Well, I guess that's what protein shakes are for. What gives?

I like shredded chicken breast with low-calorie sauces like barbecue sauce or low-fat gravy or "finishing sauce" which you can get premade in foil packets in the baking aisle. You really aren't having much of it so you don't really need to worry as much about the calories. Also fattier meat works better. I have found that lamb chops work well if cooked on the BBQ and cut into really small bites. One lamb chop does me! It is all about the texture and moisture for me.
