10 weeks out today!

I wanted to see how everyone else is doing?

I weigh in at 191! That's 40lbs down so far and I'm half way to my goal of 150. :) 7 of those lbs were lost on my preop diet.

I'm having trouble with Water, I hate it. Lol I know it's necessary. Also I feel like my hair just keeps coming out! Any tips? Just bought some Biotin Vitamins but they're HUGE!

I hope everyone is doing well!

I just couldn't stomach Water early on. It had to be Gatorade and room temperature at that. It does pass, though. I have me a big glass of water in front of me right now.

Quick question...everyone always talks about drinking Water, but I've not seem many mention drinking other things. I knows that obviously sodas and things like that are out, but can you drink crystal light post op??

Yeah crystal light counts as water I do believe.

I drink diet iced tea also. But mostly flavored water.

I have a chewable biotin that I take. I'll check the brand name for you when I get home.

The only way I can drink Water is with lemon. Lemon also helps curb appetite and aids in digestion. Also a great detox! I'm always buying fresh lemon, since I can't drink anything else but lemon water.

I'm six months post op and have tried all sorts of drinks...nothing tastes as good and refreshing as lemon water. Can't do crystal light, g2, or mio...too sweet. I used to be a big milk drinker before surgery, now I don't even touch it because it hurts.

Water, Fruit2 O, Propel, Vitamin Water Zero, Crystal Light, Snapple Diet Iced Tea, Diet Green Tea are all on my list of approved liquids. You can also add sugar free flavorings to water; crystal light, mio, etc
