  • You'll definitely need clothes before all the weight is gone.

  • I stalled at 2 weeks out for about 10 days. Same deal, my body changed a lot during that time. Same deal with my latest stall of 5 weeks starting at 2.5mos post op. Hang in there!

  • Go to local thrift stores for clothes. They are cheap and sometimes you get really lucky. I got a jacket that is reversible for about $5.

So, a long stall is normal? I'm almost two months out and feel like I haven't lost anything this whole month. I may have even gained a pound or two. I feel like I'm doing everything wrong. I am eating but not to much, but I can't stomach protein shakes so I'm lacking there and have been so busy with work and the holidays that I haven't exercised. Maybe I'm failing at this.

Shop! Thrift stores. Outlets (I am in Florida and get $50 Lee jeans for under $10). Wearing clothes that fit properly is empowering! There is no way I could still wear my "fat" clothes today. 20 months out...10+/- off goal. Went to a party tonight where I worked 10 years ago. Rocked the heels. People I waited on for years didn't recognize me. I had so much fun!
