4 days out

Had bypass Monday and feel great! absolutely no pain. Had some trouble sleeping in the hospital but fine since I got home. Tolerating meds & vitamins. Started "full liquid" today. How much am I supposed to be eating? Should it still be just the 3 oz and is that in addition to my shake? I'm afraid I'm eating too much already and im scared cuz I'm tolerating it fine so far.....

Also is it too soon to take a peek on the scale?

Glad you're feeling good...ask your dietician about eating...I could do about 1 oz at your point...I just concentrated on liquids and protein at first....I drank all day, it seemed. As far as weighing, just don't be surprised if you still have water weight from the hospital, and it's not too early to start weighing once a week. There's too much weight variation from day to day.
