Surgery yesterday - scared

My surgery was yesterday. I had a really rough night - started throwing up blood in the recovery room.

I just had my leak test and there was a concern about one place. They just came in for a follow up video extra on my stomach. I was feeling better but now I'm getting really nervous. ..

Did anyone else have the follow up video exray?

First let me say I'm sorry to hear you're having such a rough time! I know you're scared but you are with professionals who can help you. Take it day by day and hopefully this will just be a bump in the road. I wish you the best!!

Pray for peace while the professionals do what they do. Also, pray for divine intervention with the doctors. Prayer can change things.

I actually had to have another surgery the second day to look for a leak. They needed to open me up. No leak was found but there was fluid so they put in a drain which was fine. I heaved and threw up all night the first night but by day three felt so much better. Praying that you have a speedy recovery and start feeling better soon. Please keep us posted.

Thanks everyone! After the third X-ray they have cleared me and I'm onto the water trails.

I too threw up all kinds of blood post op. They said not to worry, it is left over from the surgery. I had a bit of problem with anesthesia and pain killers. ( could not wake up and very nauseas) Both passed. I pray you don't have a leak and that you recover quickly. Chin up!
