my diet just got advanced today

Hi all,

Just got back from the nutritionist and the surgeon and I am now stage 3 diet which means I can now eat solid foods and chew them very well too. This is a big relief for me cause now I can go out to eat with others and eat child portions of healthy food now. I can only have up to 4 ounces of food of course 3 ounces Protein and 1 ounce veggies low starch of course. I am so happy. And also I can exercise now at the gym. What a relief.

Yeah, congrats....

That 4 weeks on liquids was the longest 4 weeks of my life. I planned my 1st meal on softs for a week: refried Beans, cheddar cheese, a dollup of sour cream and taco sauce. It was a little slice of heaven. And then chili was like steak and lobster. Did I mention the scrambled egg with cheese? Wow. You never know how much u miss chewiing till u don't chew for 4 weeks!

Congrats! Enjoy!
