  1. My surgery was December 2013 - And i am still always cold. I have a heater under my desk, wear sweaters, and love it when it is 80 to 85 degrees outside. I love my new life, so it is okay for me to always be cold.
  2. Does anybody remember the link to the recipes? I am looking for the pumpkin protein shake. I have gained a couple of pounds and need to get back on track. Thanks!
  3. Hi Carole, I would love to attend if you are able to put something together. I had surgery just over a year ago, still would like to lose another 8 pounds. Thanks, Kathy Corlett

  11. I am 8 months out, and have 12 pounds to go to reach my personal goal. Can I eat whatever i want? Yes, I could, but i choose not to. When I made the decision to have the surgery, i also made the decision to change my life. If i really want to have something i do, but i know that i will need to excersize even harder so i don't see it on the scale. I still log all my food, and i love my fitbit. Hope this helps, and good luck to you on your journey!
  12. Caressa - Can you share with me what a typical day of food would be for you? I am 8 months out, have 12 pounds to go and i know that if i could get more food in, I would probably lose it a little bit faster. Thanks! Kathy
  13. I had to do a one month liquid diet prior to surgery. I was expected to lose 5 pounds per week. The morning of my surgery, they came in with the scale to make sure i had lost 20 pounds. I am happy to report that i had my surgery that day. For me, I am glad i did one month, I was mentally prepared for the days after surgery. I love my sleeve and wouldn't change it for anything. Just remember, this is YOUR journey- make it work for you.

  18. Mine is shoulder length now, with lots of new hair coming in. Do what you feel comfortable with. I know losing your hair will be sad, but look at what you have gained. A whole new life and your hair will grow back. Post pictures if you can! Good luck
