Driving Right After Surgery?

Alright folks, I need some advice here. I am in sales and drive all day long. I've seen people comment on taking 4-6 weeks off of work after getting sleeved... I may be very optimistic, however I think that seems like a craaaazzzyy long time to be taking off of work! Trying to get an idea from some people who maybe took more like 2 weeks off OR LESS and hear what struggles I'm maybe overlooking. Anyone out there that was in this situation? Was driving painful? Getting in and out of the car? Give me the skinny on driving after surgery! **A little bit of pun intended. ;) **

I went back to work after 9 days. I sit all day and live a20 min drive away from work. The only issue I had was lifting heavy/semi heavy things. Also it was difficult to concentrate on work and get all of my protein and water in. I am actually still having an issue with that since I am just not hungry. By the way I was sleeved on 10-17-13.

I told my doc that I'd like to return to work after five days. He told me that returning to work and driving are a case by case thing. That there is no required amount of days I'd have to sit out as long as I was not too fatigued to stay on my drinking schedule. His main concern is preventing dehydration. ( Sleeving on Dec 18th)
