    We have all tried to lose weight time and time again! If we could have done it without surgery we would have! After every diet I have regained the weight I lost plus some more! This is a last resort and a decision not made lightly. Insurance companies should realize that. I was fortunate in the sense that I only needed approval for my travel costs. Unfortunate that I did not get the classes except for 1 nutrition class. My support is mainly coming from these forums. Thank you all for your posts and encouragement!!

    Thanks everyone! Packing my bag. Going to leave VERY early cause the weather sucks here!! Have a three hour drive to the surgery center and it is supposed to be below zero plus we got a ton on snow today! Bad timing!

    Hi I'm scheduled for Jan 14 a little nervous but I think I am ready for a change. This process started over 8 months ago but finally here. Good luck to all the January surgery patients.

    Good luck tomorrow, Betsy! I'm on Wednesday. For those of you just starting or about to start the liquid diet, it DOES get easier after the first 2 days! It as hard to smell my husband cooking bacon and eggs this morning and we went to a birthday party yesterday but I was able to stick to my diet. Woo hoo! Getting excited for Wednesday!

    My surgery is Jan. 16 too.....good to have a surgery buddy...I don't start pre op until the 9th but I'm back to juicing until then...
