Polyps Discovered During Endoscopy

I had my Endoscopy this morning & my Surgeon discovered Polyps. He took one out to biopsy & is sending me to a GI. I was really shocked, I had no idea they were there!! & now my entire process is on hold until after I see the GI. Has anyone else had this happen? Or does anyone know of someone who was able to be sleeved while having polyps?

Were these polyps in your upper GI tract? I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy at the same time and they found polyps in my colon which were removed and found to be benign. Because of the polyps I have to get a colonoscopy every 5 years.
