Is it normal to have very little bowel movements? I mean I have no desire to go at all besides the diareah when it hits

Mine r all over the place. First post op was a tear jerker. After that it changes. Every couple days its either solid or straight liquid!

I'm 13 months out and seem to have evened out at twice a week now - and if I don't take a stool softener, boy does it hurt..

it gets better with time...

I was wondering about that today . I had surgery on Monday and thought okay I'm peeing but what about number 2. Did your first occurrence happen abruptly? Also I'm on liquids til week 5 will that make a difference?

Yep. Before sleeve I could count on a very loose (sometimes urgent) one, generally first thing in the morning. Thanks, Absent Gallbladder. Now for the first time in years I can go a few days. As a matter of fact I am pondering which stool softener or Fiber concoction to take today. I'm sure it's because at this stage there's no fiber in my diet.
