Officially one week out. I've lost a total of 12.1 pounds. Started at 265 pre op. One issue I had in the hospital was dehydration. My body would not let go of the IV fluids. The nurse would come in and measure my urine output in the 'hat' over the toilet. She asked if I drank a lot of water at home and I have to be completely honest, I hate water. Since I've been back home, I sip water throughout the day. I causes my stomach to clench up. So I tried drinking it at room temperature and I felt better. I'm having acid reflux especially in the middle of the night. I can still tell that my body is holding on to the water, any advice on this?? Also, I am still on soft liquids of my diet. I'm finding it very hard to get in all of my protein too. I get so full very fast. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
