4 days post op and hungry

Is it normal to be 4 days post op and be hungry. I charted my protein and water intake ( on the full liquid diet) and I did not consume all my protein and water needed... Could this be why I was hungry.. In fact I even wanted something sweet at night which did not happen post op so I had a sugar free Popsicle.

I'm 4 days post op and I don't feel hunger, but I have met my fluid and protein goals. I've read others say they are hungry on liquids, but after they've moved on to mushies, they're ok. See if getting in all your protein helps.

I had a visiting nurse and she said it is normal and getting in all my protein will help so here's to pushing to my 48 grams then moving on to 60
