  5. I was wondering the same thing. I always thought of it as extra. As if we ate extra food that day we did not go over our intake. If we had some left then it was extra calories that we burned to add to our weight loss.
  6. Left side taken in June or July And right is today. Lost a total of 50 ibs from the starting process to now. Lost 25 ibs since 10/24/2013

  11. The first picture is in June.. I cleaned my closet and tried it on yesterday!! I almost cried!!!
  12. As anyone here had pain around the belly button during the healing process? If so about how long does it last. Deep down I keep thinking I developed a hernia but my doctor says it's part of the healing process.
  13. Thanks.. It's just frustrating that's all. I'm not discouraged though. I hid my scale and stopped weighing myself. I can see a difference in the mirror so that's all I need.
  14. Let's start with the good... I can eat puréed foods. Tuna never tasted so good. I'm doing flips here.. Not really in my mind. Haha. Now I need to learn how to separate food and Water better. Bad. I only lost 10 ibs in 2 weeks!! I was expecting more so my scale lies to me. I'm putting it away and focusing on me now and let the docs weigh me in a month and be shocked
  15. None of those. Just pain. Now I think the back pain was gas because (tmi) I just went to the bathroom and it's gone but thanks guys
  16. I had my surgery on oct 24th. I had the perfect recovery until yesterday. I will tell on myself I did go to the gym and use the elliptical but for only 10 min and walked in the treadmill which I'm allowed to do. Anyway yesterday the pain was horrible to the point where I took pain meds all day and today it's bearable but my lower back and lower belly hurt now as well. Could I have hurt my muscle from overdoing it? I go to the doctor on Wednesday for my post op and I don't want to make 2 trips.
  17. The thing is I also want me time!!! And if I could go walk for an hour without my son I would in heaven. Lol
  18. So I'm 10 days post op and I have a dilemma. My husband confided with me that he feels that he is holding me back from exercising and helping me lose the weight. He is 100% supportive in fact he wants to get his sleeve next year. I told him that he was not holding me back but today I realized in the gym that he kinda was. I want to walk and run outside but I have a 3 year old who has to come with me where ever I go cause he ( my husband)is always sleeping. I don't want to be cooped up in a gym. How do I gently tell him this?
