Everything went perfectly, I'm home now and feeling great. On day 2 of clear liquids and getting about 30 mins of walking in. I'm so happy it's finally done.

good to know you are safely on the other side, joining the rest of us on the losers bench!

I am in Snohomish and scheduled for surgery on April 2nd. Getting really nervous, but excited for this journey. It is so great to read about all of your experiences...

Susie, I am in Snohomish also! I was sleeved Feb 18. :)

Mine will be at PSSC. How are you feeling so far? I'm nervous about those first few weeks....

I started my journey with PSSC but ended up going to NWWLS because the people at PSSC we're a bit rude for my liking. I love the choice I made with NWWLS and would recommend them to anyone.

I hope things go well for you Susie.

Just a reminder for anyone in Tacoma area - our next meetup is scheduled for this coming Weds, March 25th at Panara's in the Tacoma Mall at 7:00 pm. This group is very relaxed and fun. No agenda, just time spent with others who are thinking about, scheduled for, or have had WLS. This informal gathering is for those seeking friendships with others who share the common bond of WLS. Each week our group gatherings get more people who come to join us. All are welcome!

The next meetup in Gig Harbor is scheduled for April 8th at Panara's in Uptown Gig Harbor at 7PM.

Come join us at either or both locations!

I wish I could, I'm training from 10:30-7:30 Monday thru Friday

I also had mine done at PSSC. The care I received was above and beyond my expectations. The anesthesiologist was the most compassionate, gentle, kind man. He actually took my face in his hands, and talked me to sleep..told me to imagine a beach, it was just amazing. My nurses were phenominal, I actually brought them gifts at my 1 week post op. My surgeon was Dr. Landerholm, I love him. He treats you like a person, not a child.

I have had zero complications, I was kept comfortable, I was able to meet my protein goals right away. Fluids are occasionally a struggle, and when you start introducing more solid foods, it's challenging.
