Sushi

Does anyone know how long before we are allowed to have sushi? Or has anyone tried it since getting sleeved?

I have has sushi twice since being sleeved. I was 8 weeks out. It went down great and I was not able to eat a whole 8 piece roll I could eat 4-6 pieces.

I hate plain fish so I'm going to try sushi as well

i'm 4 weeks out and i tried a piece of a spicy tuna roll and had no problem with it. i imagine it will be very filling with the rice, i picked a lot of it off. i was a bit worried about the seaweed, though, so i didn't have a second piece because i'm not cleared for raw fruits and veggies yet and didn't want to push my luck.

I was 6 weeks out and tried the rainbow roll. I ate 6 of the ten slices, probably one too many. Loved it though. No issue other than a little too full.

I had sushi at my 7 week post op. Only had 2 and was done. ;)

Sashimi for me, went down well at 3 weeks.
