Have I messed up?

I'm two days out, surgery is Monday and I just couldn't hold out. We went to a cookout and I just COULD NOT resist a hamburger patty. Please tell me someone else had beef two days before surgery?

  • I guess it depends on your surgeon but I don't think you have messed up. My pre-op diet is 3 shakes and a lean cuisine for dinner per my surgeon and he also said if I had a special function or dinner

Not a problem. Our protocol had me with 2 shakes a day and a meal with veges and meat. Just stay away from the carbs. You'll be fine!
