Who's with me? Any ideas on how long I need to take off work?

It really depends on you and what you do. I do home health and had surgery on Friday and went back to work Monday. It was about 2 days too soon for me. Wish I'd taken 2 more days. I had lapband with plication and hernia repair. So, could be the amount of stuff I had done. I dunno.

I am having surgery the 8th and going back to work on the 13th. I have a desk job so shouldn't be a big deal (I hope)

I had my band last Monday so it's been 8 days. My follow up appointment is Tuesday and I am going back Wednesday. I manage a cardiology department so I have a desk job, I work with patients , I walk around a lot. I think I will be ready. The only pain I have now is around the port.

I had mine on a Wednesday and went back to work on the following Monday. My surgery was 7 hours due to revision but I do have a desk job. Was just feeling tired and still feeling effects of anesthesia. Take as much time off as you can. A week is pretty good.
