June 23, 2012 Mexico

Hi All, Going for my gps in June. Anyone else heading that way? Having it done at the Jerusalem Hospital. Can't wait. Because of medical issues I have picked the GPS over The Sleeve. My fear is that I will be the one person it doesn't work for. Any and all help needed. Thanks Michelle

I think we all think it won't work for us. I have heard of one only. It does work. Believe me. I've lost 70 lbs and have been maintaining for about a year now. I had my surgery in Tj, Mex. Don't worry. All be well. Just do as your told.

Thanks for writing. I'm excited one minute then scared the next, and the 6 hour flight isn't helping either.

I thought the same thing and still sometimes think what if I mess this up what if I don't ever loss another pound the what if could go on for ever. But with that bring said I had me surgery on march 3rd and am down 51lbs and am super excited to loss the rest of the weight I need to. I think if you make an effort to keep yourself in check you will do ok. Its when you think this is going to be an easy fix that you end up gaining your weight back. I hope all goes well and good luck.

Hi, hope all went well for your surgery I am getting my surgery done in May2013 at the jerusalem hospital. And I am a bit scared of traveling to another country for my surgery (I am from canada). Would you mind sharing your experience with jerusalem hospital?

Where is the Jerusalem Hospital? I am from Canada as well..... my daughter (who is having the surgery, she's 18) and I are leaving tomorrow, and she is having GPS done on Mon. Dec.31/12. We are both excited and nervous about everything! Lol, she is having it done at the OCC in Tijuanna Mexico, by Dr. Ortiz....
