smoothies

Anybody know any good smoothie recipes? I normally go to tropical smoothie in the morning and get a scoop of protein powder put into my smoothie. I really want to try to make them myself.

I love to use 1/2 cup almond coconut milk, about 2 tbsp of greek yogurt, a scoop of vanilla protein powder, a 1/4 of banana, a couple drops of the dasani pinapple coconut flaver drops and a few ice cubes. It's heavenly!

Oh yea, I should mention I'm preop so I'm not if this is good for post op. But I love it now. :-)

Thank you!! Sounds good

It sounds yummy, just wish I had room in my freezer for ice trays.

I think in one of the bariatric books I read, before RNY, they suggested "The Bariatric Foodie Guide to Perfect Protein Shakes" by Nikki Massie, she went under RNY in 2008 and has maintained her 120 lb weight loss. Found the book on Amazon. Haven't tried any as many take sf syrup, but what I have read I can't help but believe some of these would be assume.
