Sugar?

For the pre and post diet is it real sugar or sugar substitutes that we have to stay away from? I'm going to start my 2week liquid diet I think oct 7th and wanting to start preparing myself. Can we even have stuff that has any type of sugar in it like fruit?

For my pre op diet I wasn't restricted to any types of sugar. Post op all I can have is under 10g based on nutrition labels.

it's real sugar you have to stay away from. You can have artificial ones.

Thank you for the info. I was confused about it. What sugars are best for post op? Is stevia or maybe agave ok to use?

My NUT said no to all forms of sugar except stevia and truvia. She said no to organic honey and agave. She said it has the same impact on your blood sugar as white sugar. The artificial stuff she was against but I stopped myself almost a year ago.
