Im on clear liquids till thursday then i will be on puree but more of a liquidy consistency. Not until week 6 i can be on a regular diet

Is it normal that if i eat 1 cup of soup i really dont feel full ? This worries me, like just today ive been really feeling alot better and im feeling hunger pains and i dont want to over do it on the broth but i dont want to starve myself either.

Oh btw my SW 299 CW 286 and thats being 5 days post-op but im being such a paranoid bum and thinking im goin to slip up and gain instead of lose weight and im only at the begining of my weight loss and i think that even liquids will make me gain. Ughhhhh -_- i hate being fat and having all these things run thru my mind. Im sorry im ranting -_- :-(

as long as your not gulping it too fast, just sip sip sip...

Vicky I'm with you. I'm 5 days out and I swore I was feeling hunger almost immediately after surgery. I too have not had any neasau or vomiting (knock on wood). The only feeling I've had is the fullness from even just "sipping" water. They discharged me on a pureed diet, but that ain't happening just yet. I'm just having a hard time getting in my liquids.
