3 days post-op

Hi everyone. Im 3 days post op and its been very difficult for me. Ive been in alot of pain from the surgery and alot of gas pain :-/ the first day out of the hospital was so hard seeing my family eat a yummy dinner while i just sat there in pain drinking my nasty protein shake lol does anyone have any advice on how to sleep more confortably or is sleeping on your back the only comfy position after the surgery ? Im usually a tummy sleeper and its been so difficult to just not move without being in pain

At the hospital theysaid its a two week pre-op visit and they even gave me a 6 week calendar of foods. So by my second week when i see him i will be able to move up to liquid puree foods like yogurt and scrambled eggs ( mixed with almond milk so its a more liquidy consistency ) and cottage cheese. They didnt give you like a meal planner for the next 6 weeks ?

Well, sort of. I have a plan that says 1 wk clear liquids

1 wk full liquids

1 wk pureed foods

1 wk soft foods

Then normal. But, I have to see the doc each week to see if I'm "ready" to move up or not. So, this first week is actually going to be like 8 days or so of clear liquids. :(

So, are they just combining clear and full liquids for you cuz its two weeks before seeing the doc? Idk. Sounds pretty close either way. :)
