Hello everyone! I am new here. I am a 36 year old female, living in upstate NY with my wonderful husband and two teenage daughters. I began my journey in early January 2012 and I am scheduled to have RNY August 15th. I have BCBS Excellus and will have all mandatory appointments completed August 2nd and then off for final approval. I am a little nervous but it sounds like as long as I have followed guidelines and completed necessary appointments I should be approved. I look forward to meeting many of you on this site. Welcome ! I am upstate as well had my rny November 2012 and I had same insurance. You will be fine, congrats on your journey !

Congrats on getting your surgery date. You must be excited.

Chiming in from Upstate NY here also.

Last appointment was today and surgery is schedule for 2 weeks from tomorrow ) Now, lets just get that insurance approval and I can relax and be less anxious. I am feeling so excited but don't want hopes up until I know for absolute sure ) Thanks everyone!
