Probably soup! LOL. Do you know where are going? I find it easier when I review the menu in advance and plan ahead. However, at three weeks I was on puree and not eating much.

I was on puree at 3 weeks, you can probably do soup. I had a business lunch about 5 weeks post op and I had a omlet :)

six weeks post op and I met some friends at a mexican resturant called alfredo's (thought they were talking italian) and I had the tortilla soup 4 bites of the broth with tomatoes and took the rest home. Had enough left over could have eaten on it for a week.

Thanks everyone. I think soup is the best option!

I had chilis purée a chicken fajita Saturday and it was great looks like baby food but I was able to eat 1/4 of it there. I also got the potato soup but just about everyone's soups these days has a ton of fat. I did fine with a few bites of soup but I scared the whole time.
