Hello

I'm new here. My surgery date is June 26th and now it's all starting to hit me that this is real. This is really happening and I'm freaking out! I'm glad I found this forum and look forward to having support from those going through the same thing. I guess I just need assurance that all will be ok

Welcome! you will be just fine!

Hi everything will be ok....there is no hunger after the surgery...it will be some pain from the incisions and extreme exhaustion from the anesthesia , but it is so worth it...it's a whole new life and a whole new way of looking at food...it doesn't taste the same which I think helps with not craving certain things anymore ... I just found this forum and I'm glad to finally be able to chat with real people , good luck

Welcome! It's the beginning of a new life! :)

Hi there, i am pre op too, surgery is the 27th, i feel the same way you do. I read all the posts here and tell myself why i am doing this, what i will gain by losing. I am right there with you, nerves are kicking in.

This is my first post & I'm new here too! I'm scheduled for June 20 which is now less than a week away. I've done massive amounts of research and consider myself completed educated on the procedure but I'm freaking out anyway. I just can't wrap my mind around the idea of not being hungry. I'm also very nervous about the surgery but excited too. Weird feeling but everytime I've taken a risk in life it always turned out to be for the best. Just keep beleiving in yourself and everything else will work out :)
