I'm ok with caffeine but I really limit how much I have. For the most part I sticks with decaf.

Yeah regular coffee did a number on me presurgery so I'm afraid to try it down the road.

Oh Em Gee... I'm about 2.5 months post op. Last week I had a measured 1/2 cup of black coffee with creamer and splenda for the first time after surgery. LET ME TELL YOU.. I was so wired I spring cleaned my house and even every closet and cabinet.

I literally was high for 6 hours and going strong with cleaning. I woke up the next day sore and cramping. LOL

I felt that surge too on top of a crappy tummy for 15 hours.

I drink monster rehab lemonade tea and have no issues. I have yet to experience dumping and I'm 2 mos 16 days post op.

I still drink coffee in the morning ; one cup. Any more and my pouch hurts.
