I leave Friday morning for a week in the Florida Keys...I am not stressed about sitting next to a stranger on the plane and worrying about my flab busting over the seat and touching them. I have a new size 14 bathing suit that looks adorable on me and makes my waist look tiny and my boobs look great. I'm going parasailing with my 9 year old and am not freaked out about looking like a flying whale....I'm not worried I'll get too hot or have to take a break from walking. I am just happy and excited and feel like a kid at Christmas :)

I'm almost 1/2 way to goal, about 60 pounds to go and I feel like, for the first time ever, I'm living my life and not just watching it go by because I'm fat and insecure. Life...is....good...

I can now officially lay the tray flat without it touching my thighs and comfortably cross my legs on an airplane...it's the small things that amuse me

Because I'm a dork (and I'm sure the lady next to me thought I was nuts) distance from belly to tray.... And distance from thigh to tray..... Holy cow, I feel like a rock star!

It's was AMAZING not to be limited by the size of my ass :)

I'll be taking pictures of the airline tray and seatbelt if I ever fit. I stopped trying to use it years ago. Congratulations!

Wow I can so relate. I can't wait to be able to put the tray down and it doesn't hit my stomach! Congrats to you!

This has been so inspiring, I need to book a flight somewhere!!

Glad you're having a great time! You've inspired me to bathing suit shop for my September cruise! Although my weight's coming off slowly (only 59 pounds in 3 months) I'm losing inches due to exercise & afraid if I wait till August the suits will be picked over!

Thanks Dorian. I guess I'm a bit bummed because I only lost 10 pounds in month 3. Now, 10 pounds a month is far more than I would have been able to do without the surgery, it just means that I will be close to 18 months before I. Near goal, and, of course, the weight loss pace tapers off over time, which will just slow me down ore eventually. But I'm very happy I had the surgery!

I agree. I'm not totally happy with my loss either, but its more than I could've done without surgery as well. I also can't exercise mch so that doesn't help. At least it is coming off, and I feel good except for the back pain. Doesn't matter how long it takes, we WILL get there! ;) good luck!
