  1. I just wanted to drop in and say hi to everyone. I hope you are all doing well.
  2. Yum!! I want to eat at your house!!
  3. It is becoming a bigger and bigger issue for me. I didn't have pain until after the surgery. It's becoming excruciating.
  4. Dorian... So happy that your LTD is FINALLY approved and glad the worst for your son and family appears to be over. Ajustice... What a difficult and emotional thing to deal with. It's amazing how the surgery really forces us to confront that part of our lives. I appreciate the advice about the 3 month mark. I would be lying if I didn't say that I too have had a difficult couple of days. Today was so emotional for me I had to leave my office and sit outside for 15 minutes and just cry. On top of it all the week is not looking much better. tomorrow i have my uncles funeral (which my work would only give me two hours off for) and then counseling Thursday which is always VERY emotional for me. The crying helped me compose myself but I had a difficult time making good food choices. I didn't want to eat and when I decided I would all I wanted was junk. I did eat a lettuce wrap but then had a handful of huckleberry popcorn. I feel extremely guilty now and disappointed in myself because I have been stalled again for days... I'll never lose if that is how I eat... I don't know good days seem to far away to look forward to...
  5. I am so sorry for those who are struggling right now, whether its personal or family issues. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Please if there is anything else I could do please don't hesitate to ask. Please keep us all updated as I as well as all the others will be concerned for you.
  6. I have been very fortunate, while I was really sick in the beginning the last few weeks have been really good. So good I forgot how horrible it is to dump. What is strange is that it is almost always protein drinks that do it to me. Tonight it no exception... Blah.
  7. Thank you so much for sharing this I have been searching for an app for weeks like this!!
  8. You look amazing!! And your dogs are so cute!
  9. Oh my she is ssooo cute!
  10. Thank you all for sharing your stories. I love reading them and getting to know you better!! I guess a little about me.... I'm Kelli. I turned 33 on June 5th. I live in Idaho. II am also on my second marriage. Together we have five kids mine are 14 & 12, his are 13, 10 & 7. The four oldest are boys with the youngest being the only girl. We also have an adorable puppy who is like having a 7th child... yes i said 7th because my husband i consider my 6th I am a paralegal and work for the public defenders office. I am specifically assigned to murder cases. Working in death penalty cases has been very interesting but dealing with murder has become extremely difficult at times. I too had to have a hysterectomy 4 years ago and while I wasn't extremely heavy I was still about 195. They took my ovaries too because there were masses on them as well, and unfortunately it sent me into menopause at 29. With the hysterectomy and the emotional eating (often to try and comfort myself after looking at gruesome pictures or video all day) I reached my highest in January at 272. I made a decision to take care of my weight and mental health. So I committed to the surgery and to counseling. It's been a tough road but my counseling is amazing and my weight is at 218. As a Sid note- we love boating and the water. We go wakeboarding, skiing, tubing etc. almost every weekend. It is my goal by the end of the summer to be able to do it again.
  11. Awesome! Have fun!
  12. Does anyone have suggestions... I am 8 weeks post op and have developed right side pain under my ribs. It feels like it did when I had to have my gallbladder removed but obviously I don't have a gallbladder. It's after hours and my surgeons office is closed on Fridays. I haven't been able to eat or drink much all day.
  13. I'm so sorry, I hope your on the mend's soon.
  14. not good. I hope it's nothing to serious. I hope your feeling better soon.
  15. I am wondering if there is anyone who has experienced this... I have been gaining and losing the same 2 lbs for weeks!! I lose a pound then gains half then lose a pound and gain two. I just bounce up and down between 222 and 220. I am doing better than ever with my Water in take, food and exercise. I just don't know what to do and it's driving me crazy!!
  16. Who cares if you look stupid?!? I mean I personally don't even think twice about it. I say screw judgmental people! I've had enough of them! Live your life for you and make decision in your life that you are ok with because your the person the has to live with them.
  17. Hang in there Mami. We all have cravings for something, wether it is food, cigarets or sex lol. We still eat food and have sex.... we just have to learn moderation and timing. You know what is best for you. You'll make the right decision. Don't beat yourself up to much, it will only make the need stronger (or so I think). You got this girl!
  18. Thank you so much. It's hard to notice differences in ourselves sometimes.
  19. Thank you so much!! You are looking amazing! Awesome job on all your success.
