Don't know what you're doing for exercise but that is an option. According to my surgeon you shouldn't worry about calories. Just make sure you're eating all the protein you're supposed to and getting your fluids. I was "stalled" for about a week until 2 days ago. I added in some exercise (biking & walking) - because quite frankly, I was being lazy - and have lost 3 pounds in the past 2 days. Hope this helps.

It all depends on height and beginning weight too. I had my surgery april 29th and i have lost 20lbs. I am 5'2" and was 251lbs. People who are over 300lbs usually lose a little bit more in the beginning but it will all even out if you are doing the protein intake and exercise like your dr told you to!!!
