May 12, 201313 yr No, I don't think so. To rubbery. I guess you could grind them up. That would be gross though.
May 12, 201313 yr Turkey/chicken lunchmeat is on my list. I have been having that with some string cheese for lunch.
May 13, 201313 yr tilapia is a good choice. There is a recipe on spark that is a broiled parmesian tilapia that is really good.
May 13, 201313 yr Shrimp has been great for me...I buy them already steamed from the grocery store and add old bay seasoning. The go down really easy. My Nut. suggested this to me.
May 13, 201313 yr i am eating shrimp as i am reading this! haha! it has been working great for me. just ensure that you chew chew chew. nice and solid Protein. i have found it working MUCH better for me than chicken. and i don't put in the blender. i just eat it slowly and chew it to a porridge consistency before going down.
May 13, 201313 yr I had shrimp about 3 months post op and it did not go down real well same with tuna, chicken, and any red meat so I stay away from all of that. Basically I do a non meat diet and only eat salmon and other soft fish.
