Depression?

I'm three and a half weeks post rny. I've lost 39 pounds so far. I haven't cheated once, but I also am having a hard time eating. Today I completely broke down crying because I miss carbs and soda. I've gone almost two months without both and today out of nowhere, it hit me. I know if I tried to cheat I'd probably get sick. I guess it's all head hunger. Now I know why I was overweight in the first place. Not a good day for me.

Congrats on your weight loss!!! You're doing really well. Sorry to hear that you are having a bad day. It does get better. I'm 5 months out and still have my days. Your hormones are all over the place and you will be up and down for awhile. Just keep sipping and get whatever Protein you can in and just keep working at it. Some protein is better then none at all. I still don't get my recommended amount but I keep trying every day. Keep your was up and it will all work out :)

"nothing tastes as good as skinny feels"

You will be alright, when you start thinking about food find something to keep your mind busy, go for a walk, take a bath, do something.

Also, my therapist said to brush my teeth when I consider cheating, you know how tooth paste makes everything taste ick.

Just think about that number, 39 is a good number, and it'll keep going up. Focus on the positives.
