  • When I got home from surgery, I'd "gained" 9 lbs - all from fluid they'd pumped into me during my stay. Fortunately, my doc's office had warned me about it, but it still wasn't fun having to "re-lose

  • I too gained in the hospital, 7 stinking lbs. But when I went for my one week check up I lost that 7 plus 5 more. So I was actually only 5 less than my day of surgery weight. Still being 3 weeks 4

I gained 9# in the hospital. It is natural!! Also, like everyone else, I hit my first stall at 3 weeks post op. I'm 7 months post op now. Down 99# ;) Hang in there.

@Calorado... I gained 24lbs I'm hospital.. By my 1month post op I had lost that plus 3 lbs. so I have a question.... When people talk about how much they have lost does anyone ever include what they gained in the hospital?? Just curious. I never added that to my weight loss

Hell to the yes!!! If I saw it on the scale, then it's what I weighed...and if it came off, it's part of what I've lost!!

I didn't gain at the hospital so I don't count anything like that but I do count the ten pounds I lost preop on the preop diet:)
