I have been thinking about Bariatric surgery for a couple of years now. I have my first consult tomorrow.

Lol, I was thinking roux en y or duodenal switch. I think my insurance only covers roux en y or lap band though.

I am getting a revision from the band to the bypass in three weeks.

HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 226.6

My only advice is to do your research and know exactly what to expect and you will do great. If anyone ever tells you that having weight loss surgery is "the easy way out" you can smack them ;)
