I need help!

Can you guys help me. I am noticing that you guys have lost anywhere from 15-20 lbs before your surgery. I am having mine on April 18 and I need to loose weight. The dr hasn't made me feel like its mandatory I mean he said it would make his job easier and recovery would be better for me. So I want too I just don't know what to do! My family is not very motivating but hubby said he will start walking with me tonight. What should I eat to help me loose? CW 317 I would like to loose at least 18lbs before my surgery. HELP

I'd recommend making some of the changes you will have to make after surgery.

1. Cut out carbs: this has been my biggest key to weight loss. If it has flour or sugar, don't eat it.

2. Increase protien: add a shake to your diet

3. Increase water: make sure you are getting 8 glasses or more a day.

4. Add some exercise. Even if it's just taking the stairs or parking in a space far from the door.

You can do this! Good luck!

I have surgery next week and my doctor has me doing 2 protein shakes, one for breakfast and one for lunch (I do the Atkins becauase they are low carb) and then a sensible dinner, lean meat and veggie. I hope this helps!

Do you have to do the protein shake or liquid diet? ....That should do it!
