Husband problems

I am so upset. I am almost halfway through my six months of supervised diet to get approved with my ins and everytime my husband gets really mad at me he threatens to take me off of his ins. I am on his ins plan because I work for myself and getting ins for myself would be way too expensive. Today, he picked up the phone and started to call the ins co. and I ran out of the room crying. He knows how much this means to me and he is holding it over my head.:cry

Any advice?

just a bit of advice- if its not enrollment time and there has been no life changing events ie divorce, death, birth- under most insurances he cant just take you off.

Here it is!

After dealing with my company insurance for five months now, open enrollment starts in August for us. Once that door is closed, it's CLOSED. He can't do anything until the next open enrollment period.

Regardless of the "other side to the story". Anyone who would threaten you with a means to removing the source for paying for your dream is a bully and control freak. He's manipulating you and yes I will go so far as to say being mentally abusive.

He may feel threatened by the weight you have lost, by the possibility of what you may lose and then you may not be so dependent on him because you may feel more able to do for yourself. Stay strong, stay committed and take it one day at a time.
