Waaa After 4 months of being banded, I tried my first hamburger patty with a little cheese on top and cut up tomatos and after a little itty bite,(chewed and chewed) well, it got stuck and I ran to the restroom and PB'd:( Shoot!!!

LOL!! I'm craving a Coke too!! I never liked Coke before and I guess now that my doctor says it's a no no, I want a big tall glass of Coke with lots of ice:confused:

Hi Sevens!! Well, I think I might be a slow loser, so I went out and got a treadmill today!! Hopefully that will help me lose faster:) Is there going to be a challange between Thanksgiving and Christmas? If so, I would love to do that!! You all are doing so great!! XOXO

It took me 4 fills and one unfill to feel where I should be.

Do you follow a liquid diet after an "unfill" just like you do when you get a fill? I will be getting some fluid out due to being too constricted.

Dr. Mark Paya.....I would trust my life with him. I never felt afraid because he is a brilliant surgeon.:mad: I would send my loved ones to him .....but everyone in my family is thin!!LOL!! He is simply the best.

I had to go on the six month supervised diet. It was an insurance tactic to make me discuraged but I did it and the time goes by pretty fast.

My doctor requires a liquid diet on the day of the fill. (Before the fill and then 12 hours after the fill) And don't worry it just feels like a little pinch :Banane10: Good Luck!!

Hi everyone!! Got my second fill three days ago and I am happy to announce that I finally feel restriction!!! I made the mistake of eating Chex Mix and I got stuck for the very first time. The Pain!! Water made it worse too. I am still feeling the effects from the Chex Mix this morning. Off to drink some warm decaf tea. XOXO

Hi Everyone!! I had my first fill of 2cc's a few weeks ago but I have'nt felt any restriction. I know that I need another fill, but my doctor is overseas until Oct 4th.(he has no covering doctor) He told me to just diet and excercise until he gets back, but I am slowly gaining weight. Afraid that I will gain back my 20 lbs before he returns. I found a fill doctor in my area who will fill me. Do you think that my doctor will mind if I get filled by someone else while he is away? Thanks for any replys:)

I had my first fill(2cc) last Thursday on the 23rd Aug but almost a week later, I feel no restriction at all. So tomorrow I am going in for a second fill and I hope I will be able to feel some restriction after. Right now I am able to eat anything without problems and I think I may be eating too much food in one sitting:cry I am going to get a food scale this weekend to see exactally how much food I am actually putting in my mouth. I also gained 1 lb this morning.

Hi Friends:) Ok, I got my first fill on Thursday and I am not feeling any restriction yet. I forgot and gulped down some water like I used to preband. Nothing happened. Went right down like it used to. Then I tried a chicken leg and it all went down perfect, nothing stuck or weird feeling. Although I am chewing and chewing like 20 times. But no slime or PB and I think I can eat way more than what I am supposed to but too scared to try an over eating adventure just to see if this band works. if this continues, I will ask my surgeon for another 2 cc's. That would make 4cc's total. Is that asking for too much? I really want my band to be more strict with me but it seems to be a "happy go lucky" type of band that lets everything in and dosent say a word. Any advice??

Had my very first fill today!! Did'nt hurt at all. He put 2 cc's in my 10 cc band. The doc has me on full liquids for 48 hours, then I can start back to regular food.
