I do. Same. Painful knees, lower back spasms when I walk longer than 8 minutes. Also have hip pain. My surgery is next week and I am expecting to feel better with each lost pound. I've been told just keep walking. Each day one step further. See if you can find a gym with a NuStep machine they are great. It's a recumbent machine not a bicycle. Look up there website. It is awesome and a good non impact workout. I love it.

The surgery does not relieve pain right away. I have been struggling with severe back spasms and neck pain since surgery. I have to go to the chiropracter 2 or more times a week. Cant wait for an.improvement

I also have a back problem & it's still there after losing weight.
