My dr said nothing like that for 5 weeks, and then we are considered recovered (as long as no issues). Ask your dr since they all have different rules.

My dr. Said walking after Two weeks. Cardio after 6weeks. Abs after a year. :-/

Yea I was told 6 weeks too!

My doc said no ab exercises like crunches or strengthening exercise on abs for 3 months due to hernias after surgery from incision sites .
